ASCENDO, Trinnov, and Christie Deliver ‘Standout Experience’ with 9.7.4 Home Cinema Showcase at Audio Advice Live 2026

Heilsbronn, Germany; Paris, France; and Cypress, California – July 23, 2026 – ASCENDO Immersive Audio (distributed by Sutherland AV Marketing), Trinnov Audio, and Christie will present a ‘Standout Experience’ at Audio Advice Live 2026 with a high-performance home cinema demonstration. The Magnolia II demo room combines an ASCENDO immersive audio system with dedicated infrasonic bass, Trinnov Cylindrical WaveForming™, and Christie’s latest projection technology.
The Best Bass in Any Room
Building on the success of last year’s demonstration (which received eCoustic’s award for Best Bass Response at the show), Trinnov and ASCENDO will showcase the next evolution of active room acoustics with Cylindrical WaveForming, demonstrating how exceptional bass performance can be achieved even in a square room.
Unlike conventional approaches that attempt to correct standing waves after they occur, Cylindrical WaveForming prevents them from developing in the first place. By utilizing a floor-level front subwoofer array and strategically positioned rear subwoofers, it delivers remarkably consistent bass response, improved transient accuracy, and exceptional seat-to-seat uniformity while requiring less architectural complexity than a traditional planar implementation.
WaveForming can be implemented with as few as four subwoofers, but for Audio Advice Live, Trinnov and ASCENDO have staged a more impressive demonstration. The 25’ x 25’ x 8’ Magnolia II demo room will feature Trinnov’s flagship AltitudeCI audio processor with an Amplitude16 amplifier and Trinnov’s Dante interface, driving an ASCENDO high-performance immersive audio system that shows ASCENDO’s innovation in subwoofers. The low-frequency system will include four ASCENDO THE18 SUB PASSIVE VENTED subwoofers positioned along the front wall and two positioned along the rear wall to complete the Cylindrical WaveForming array.
ASCENDO’s philosophy extends beyond conventional subwoofer design by treating infrasonic frequencies as complementary elements of a complete cinematic experience. ASCENDO’s THE32 infrasub will bring the deepest frequencies (below WaveForming’s operating range) for bass that audiences can both hear and feel. Meanwhile, 13 ASCENDO coaxial point-source speakers purpose-built for home cinema create a realistic and time-coherent experience for every seat in the room, eliminating the sweet spot restriction altogether.
Together, the system demonstrates how Trinnov’s advanced room optimization and ASCENDO’s high-output subwoofer technology create bass that is powerful, articulate, and consistent throughout the listening area.
Remarkable Visual Performance from Christie
Known for powering commercial cinemas around the world, Christie brings its professional projection pedigree to Audio Advice Live and the luxury home at large. The Christie Korus 4K1000-KS laser projector provides impressive visual performance, equipped with a 1.25–2.0:1 zoom lens and paired with a 135-inch Stewart Wallscreen Deluxe with Harmony woven material.
Powered by the latest 0.8” HEP DMD technology, the 4K1000-KS delivers more than 10,000 ISO lumens, 4K UHD+ resolution, and rich contrast. Combined with accelerated color cycling for vibrant, lifelike colors with impressive accuracy, Korus delivers a compelling visual experience for premium residential cinemas. Its compact, installation-friendly chassis and wide selection of lenses enable unobtrusive integration, allowing Korus to seamlessly blend into room designs. Combined with the immersive audio system, attendees will witness a home theater where every element works to faithfully reproduce the filmmaker’s artistic vision.
2.1-Channel System in Audio Advice Lobby
In addition to the Magnolia II demonstration room, attendees can visit the upstairs main lobby, where ASCENDO and Trinnov will present a 2.1-channel system featured product display highlighting ASCENDO’s flagship BLACK SWAN loudspeakers in a Carbon finish and THE28 SUB SQUARED alongside a Trinnov AltitudeCI and Amplitude16.
